Purpose
We believe every student has the ability to succeed so we personalize our sessions to fit each child's needs.
Beliefs held by all employees include:
● We believe the Bible, only, is inspired, inerrant, infallible, and authoritative (2Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21).
● We believe there is one God who eternally exists in three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1, Matthew 28:19, John 10:30).
● We believe in the complete deity and humanity of Christ (John 10:33), which includes His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23, Luke 1:35), sinless life (Hebrews 4:15, Hebrews 7:26), miracles (John 2:11), vicarious and atoning death (1 Corinthians 15:3, Ephesians 1:7, Hebrews 2:9), resurrection (John 11:25, 1 Corinthians 15:4), ascension to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19), and His eventual return in glory (Acts 1:11, Revelation 19:11).
● We believe in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature; and that men are justified on the foundation of faith alone in the shed blood of Christ alone and only by God’s grace alone. (John 3:16-19, John 5:24; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:8–9; Ephesians 2:8–10; Titus 3:5).
● We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 8:9, 1 Corinthians 12:12–13, Galatians 3:26–28).
● We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life (I Corinthians 3:16, 6:19–20, Romans 8:13–14, Ephesians 4:30, Ephesians 5:18).
Responsibilities of a Christian:
We believe that God created everything and entrusted its care to humanity. For that reason, the stewardship of the Earth and its resources is a huge responsibility of man. People are the pinnacle of God’s creation; therefore, properly educating young people is an essential part of our duty to God. We also believe that the purpose of life is to show the love of Christ to anyone we encounter. Some of the ways we show good stewardship and kindness are through providing excellent services, caring for our students, and providing education to children overseas. We always strive for excellence as we serve our students. First, we always take time to get to know students and tailor the learning experience to their individual needs. Parents, students, and tutors are always welcome to provide feedback on ways we can improve. Our tutors have a growth mindset as they adapt lessons. We pray for our students and work hard to provide the best education possible. Also, FFT supports education by sponsoring the education of children in Uganda. We donate a portion of the profit from each session to pay the fee for a child to go to school. We are committed to providing the best service possible to honor God.
Most importantly, at Family Focused Tutors, we believe in providing a safe place to educate your child. No parent should have to fear or worry about what their teacher is teaching their children. Instead, they should have peace in knowing that they have a God-honoring tutor supporting their child in their educational journey. Our tutors prioritize encouraging their students with a Christian mindset and letting them know that they can do all things through Jesus Christ who gives them strength. Nothing is impossible with God, and we stand in faith knowing that every child can learn to the glory of God our Savior.
Matthew 19:13-15 "Then the little children were brought to Jesus for Him to place His hands on them and pray for them. And the disciples rebuked those who brought them. But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them! For the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” And after He had placed His hands on them, He went on from there."
We make it a high priority to protect the children that God entrusts to us to work with.
